The loop takes you on a scenic tour around the northern Black Hills and by some of our personal favorite attractions in the area. The loop is designed as a day outing, and will take approximately 5 hours.
Starting from the Lodge you will head southeast for 13 miles and arrive at Deadwood. There you can visit the Adams Museum, or take a stroll down the historic cobblestone streets.

Next you will drive approximately 20 minutes to Spearfish, where you can grab a bite to eat or visit the Western Heritage Museum.

After spending some time in Spearfish, head West on Interstate 90 and in about a half-hour you will arrive at the Vore Buffalo Jump, a great historical attraction that all will enjoy.

You will then head north on US-14 for 45 minutes where you will arrive at the nations first national monument-Devils Tower.

After the excitment of the day relax and enjoy the scenic 1.5 hour drive back to Spearfish Canyon Lodge where the comfort of your room awaits you.
